It never ceases to amaze me the number of interesting and unique businesses they're are based in the Exmoor area - One that has caught my attention recently is 'Exmoor Classics'.
Exmoor Classics is based in the old john Woods Sheepskin Factory in Old Cleeve Near Minehead. The company specialises vehicle body repair work from minor dents and scratches to full classic and vintage car restoration.
The workshop is equipped with a modern spray booth and drying oven and paint mixing lab, this partnered with 55 years combined experience in the auto repair trade makes Exmoor Classics one of the best auto body repair shops in the area.
As well as the usual day to day repairs - the most interesting projects are the 'Classic Marque's' that come in for restoration. Whether it be a partial restoration/respray or a full nuts and bolts strip down and re-build from the wheels up.
Among the current projects in various stages of restoration are a MK III Jensen intercepter, an Opel GT (made for the American market so very rare in this country) and an Austin Ambassador alongside a classic British MGB BGT which is having its inner and outer sills removed and replaced with new.
